What is Granular insights?
Granular Insights is a powerful free tool from Granular that connects agronomic and financial analysis to give customers insight into the economic impact of their decisions on every acre. It’s powered by machine data, making it the easiest way to capitalize on all the data they are already collecting.

Project
As the lead product designer in this project, I work with the product team, engineering team, customer support team, and other cross-functional teams to develop a straightforward solution that allows farmers and advisors to collaborate within the same account using symmetry data.
Problems
Farmers and advisors use different Corteva digital tools to collaborate:
• Farmers and advisors have different digital accounts in different Corteva tools.
• They upload data to different tools, and cannot share data between the parties.
• Collaboration between farmers and their advisors was broken. They connect in person, but lag behind in using technology to make positive agronomic and financial decisions for their farms.
Customer goal
Establish a shared account for farmers and advisors that facilitates the easy exchange of symmetry data and simplifies the process for them to join.
Business goal
Enroll more farms & Increase the number of users in Granular Insights to drive more seed sales.

Information architecture
Based on the solution, I developed an information architecture to help the team understand the end-to-end journey holistically. This also guided me in creating relevant designs for each step.
Design challenges
Add a notification in the left navigation to remind advisors to invite farmers after data setup, ensuring smooth integration with future tools and a seamless invitation flow.
Design
• I added a notification icon next to the operation settings to remind advisors to take action in the left navigation. This choice was driven by its ability to provide a continuous reminder, align with the familiar icon-based navigation, save space, and adapt well across screen sizes without interfering with other elements.
• After clicking the operation settings tab, advisors will see an "Invite Farmer" widget with the same icon and invite button on the member settings page, ensuring focus on the feature and avoiding confusion, as this is where users manage members.
• In the invite farmer modal, advisor can simply invite farmers with pre-populated permissions via their emails or phone numbers.
Success metric
• We have the right solution of creating the accounts with the right data for farmers and advisors.
• The new users transition helps increase the number of users to join Granular Insights.
• By having the same account & data with the right members, it helps users to engage more in the product.
